In a low-scoring affair between the Pine Island Dolphins and the Barton Springs Blues, pitcher Lawrence Anderson was the difference between victory and defeat. The Pine Island right-hander earned accolades in the 3-2 Dolphins win. Gary Norman closed the game out for Pine Island, earning his 1st save. Barton Springs is now 6-6.

Though he did not get the decision, Anderson did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 8 innings, until Pine Island eventually rallied past the Blues.

"It was terrific getting this win," Anderson said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
