Zapata Brings A-Game, Rails Beat Ghosts
|
Pitcher Jorge Zapata was sensational for the Richland Rails in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Casper Ghosts. Zapata picked up the win, and it was well-earned. The loss makes Casper 52-47.
Zapata, who leaned on his splitter, allowed no runs on just 3 hits over 6.1 innings for the Rails. For the most part, Casper hitters were simply overmatched.
"We had a good game plan," Zapata said, "and we were able to execute it."
