In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.
The Toledo Saboteurs downed the Lancaster Farmers, 9-1, at Toledo Backyard Park. The Saboteurs were led by Bai-luo Kao. He slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 3. Picking up the win was Rabi Tamir. He went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits. The right--hander struck out 1 and walked 2.
In the first inning, Kao had a 2-run home run for Toledo. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Saboteurs on top, 2-1.
Saboteurs manager José Zamora had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
The 11th-place Saboteurs have a record of 36-60.
