The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis got a stellar performance from pitcher Pablo Moreno, who handcuffed the Minnesota offense en route to a win, 3-2, at Loony Bin. Daniel Watson finished to wrap up his 21st save. Nuevo Mexico is now 42-42.

In the top of the first, Clifton Roberson ambushed a 1-2 fastball from Javier González and hit a 3-run home run. It gave Nuevo Mexico a quick 3-0 lead.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Moreno.
