The New Orleans Voodoo stymied the Buffalo White Walkers, 7-2, at The Voodoo Lounge. Seung-jae Kyong had a good day at the plate. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a triple, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for New Orleans. New Orleans pitcher Huibert Illidge got the win. He's now 10-4. Bhagavan Antle was tagged with the loss. Ronnie Gómez notched his 1st save in 2 chances.
Anthony Roosemont, who is tied for 9th in the PL with a .286 batting average, aided the New Orleans cause with a run-scoring double in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the center fielder was 2-4 with a double. He scored 2 runs.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said New Orleans manager Chase Sims.
New Orleans has now won 8 in a row.
