Sixshooters Stadium was the site of a tense game between the Westwood Sixshooters and Nuevo Mexico Mariachis.

Nuevo Mexico turned a good effort from starter Jasny Buzek into a win over the Westwood Sixshooters at Sixshooters Stadium. The final score was 3-1. At 22-27, the Mariachis are currently 7th in the Menard's AA.

Nuevo Mexico used the timely hitting of Nick Allen to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mariachis on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It was a good effort all around," said Allen.
