The Ottawa Nationals topped the Toledo Saboteurs, 4-1, in M3L Double A action at Toledo Backyard Park. The standout performance belonged to Ottawa pitcher and Somerset, Kentucky, native Ethan Morse. Jonathan Luna closed the game out for Ottawa, earning his 13th save. Ottawa goes to 32-15. The win puts them 2½ games up in their division.
Victor Porter, who is tied for 5th in the 3AA in bases on balls with 29, contributed to the Ottawa win with a solo home run in the top of the second. For the game, the designated hitter had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 1 run batted in.
