Ballpark of Tacoma was the site for M3L Double A action featuring the Tacoma Fur Traders and Nuevo Mexico Mariachis.
The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis picked up a win at Ballpark of Tacoma, knocking off the Tacoma Fur Traders, 5-2. On the mound for Nuevo Mexico was left-hander Stanton Maxwell, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winning streak has now reached 5 games for the Mariachis.
Bryan Jacobs had a clutch at-bat with two out in the top of the sixth for the Mariachis. Coming up with the bases loaded and Nuevo Mexico trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run single.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Maxwell.
