Parker Excels in 5-2 Lancaster Win
|
The Lancaster Farmers stymied the Westwood Sixshooters, 5-2, at Farmers Field. Anthony Parker had a good day at the plate. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Lancaster. Rodrigo Valderrábano got the save, the 4th for him this season. With the win, Lancaster pushed its record to 17-6.
In the first inning, Parker had a 2-run home run for Lancaster. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Farmers on top, 3-0.
"It was a good effort all around," said Parker.
