Saboteurs Snatch Late Win
The Saboteurs grabbed a win, 5-1, at Mariachi Band Shell, overcoming a fine effort from Nuevo Mexico pitcher Stanton Maxwell. Maxwell went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. Miguel Ortíz came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The loss drops Nuevo Mexico to 7-9.

Runs were scarce in this one. So, Joe Clemons's at-bat in the top of the ninth was vitally important. With two out, the Toledo catcher reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run, to give his team a 2-1 lead.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Clemons said after the game.
