Boston and San Mateo duked it out and the Patriots came out victorious.

The Boston Patriots did just enough to secure a victory over the San Mateo Dirty Reds, 4-3, at Dunkin Donuts Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Jorge Enríquez. The winning pitcher was Enríquez, now 3-3. He tossed 6 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 4.

The Patriots got a big at-bat from first baseman Zhong-yi Yun. For the game, Yun went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 12th home run of the season gave Boston a 4-2 lead.

"We put together a nice win," Enríquez said.

With the victory, the Patriots upped their record to 35-35.
