Grey Wolves Roll to 8-2 Win Over Leviathan
The Vancouver Grey Wolves topped the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 8-2, in Menard's Third League action at The Dungeon in Halifax. The game was highlighted by the performance of Vancouver first baseman Gerald Riley. Juan Rayo went 5 innings for Vancouver to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs. He scattered 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. His record improves to 10-3. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Vancouver.

Vancouver used a well-timed hit by Kuniyoshi Kodo to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Grey Wolves ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Kodo told the Vancouver Today.
