MacMurchy Deals Northern Virginia 3-1 Setback
In a well-pitched game between the Toledo Stingers and the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, pitcher Archie MacMurchy was superb. The Toledo left-hander helped his team win, 3-1. Richello Dosono converted his 16th save in 19 tries. With the win, Toledo upped its record to 59-42.

MacMurchy, who was born in Oregon, Ohio, threw 97 pitches over 7.1 innings, while allowing 1 run.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said MacMurchy.
