The Kingston Township Knights got a magnificent performance from pitcher Seung Kim, who stifled the Buckhead offense en route to a 3-1 Knights win at 5 Paces Park. Kim picked up the win for Kingston Township, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 7-7. George Atwater closed it out for his 20th save.
Kingston Township used a well-timed hit by Justin George to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Knights ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Tough loss," said Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister. "But we'll learn from it."
The 10th-place Knights go to 37-53.
