Ohm Hits Two Dingers, Divided Win, 4-3
|
The D.C. Divided stopped the Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 4-3, behind an impressive performance from Jae-woo Ohm. The 13-year veteran made life miserable for Northern Virginia pitching. He was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. D.C. reliever Jeremy Brody picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Francisco Pacheco was saddled with the loss. With the win, D.C. raised its record to 49-35.
Marvello Millon contributed a productive at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat that helped D.C. get the win.
After the game, D.C. manager Jonathan Gerth applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
