Knights Hang 4-1 Loss on Leviathan
|
Earl Hurdle pitched well, but his team, the Nova Scotia Leviathan, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Kingston Township Knights at Cloverdale Legion Park. The Leviathan have now dropped 5 straight.
Rashid Qutaybah was 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Kingston Township. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Earl Hurdle. It was his 36th RBI of the season.
"We'll put that win in the can," said Qutaybah, "and go after the next one."
