Kingfishers Lose to Voodoo, 4-3
|
The New Orleans Voodoo defeated the Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-3, in United States Premier League action at The Voodoo Lounge. New Orleans pitcher Anthony Coleman had a standout performance. Coleman got the win, improving to 6-4. He allowed 6 hits and walked 3 over 5 innings. Coleman allowed 3 runs. At 38-26, New Orleans is in third place in the Premier League.
Seung-jae Kyong, who is tied for 9th in the PL with a .789 OPS, helped out the New Orleans cause in the bottom of the third inning with a run-scoring ground out. For the game, the second baseman drove in one run.
