Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Dirty Reds
|
Lang Park was the site of a tense game between the Baltimore Bullets and San Mateo Dirty Reds.
San Mateo beat Baltimore on the strength of starter Sylvain Richard's fine effort. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-2. Cisco García earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4 innings. His record is now 2-2.
San Mateo won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With no outs and Armando Trujillo on the mound for Baltimore, catcher Casey Vincent hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Dirty Reds fans to their feet.
"Every loss stings," said Baltimore manager Brandon Slouck. "This one is no exception."
The 9th-place Dirty Reds have won 6 straight games.
