The Minnesota Loons topped the Marquette Miners, 6-3, in M3L Double A action at Marquette Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Minnesota pitcher and Maringa, Brazil, native Dionísio Zagallo. The win gives Minnesota a record of 5-7.

Antoine Mercier took Ricardo Aguirre deep in the top of the second. His solo home run put the Loons on top, 1-0. In all, Mercier had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
