San Mateo left-hander Yin-reng Fong pitched his team to victory over the Oakland Oaks at Lang Park. The final score was 8-3. The win puts San Mateo at 24-37.

Matsusuke Saikawa hit a 2-run home run off Miguel Velázquez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Dirty Reds ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Saikawa had 1 double, while going 2 for 5.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Fong.
