Nationals Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Ottawa Nationals and Minnesota Loons.

The Ottawa Nationals defeated the Minnesota Loons, 5-4, at Nationals Park today. Leading the charge for Ottawa was second baseman Daniel Long. He went 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Minnesota drops to 4-4.

Ottawa won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. With two outs and Júlio Martínez on the mound for Minnesota, left fielder Ramiro Peralta hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Nationals fans to their feet.

"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Long. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
