Ottawa Gets 6-4 Win
|
Anthony Parker had a good game, but he could not keep the Lancaster Farmers from falling, 6-4, to the Ottawa Nationals at Farmers Field. The Lancaster first baseman went 2-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI in the loss. The winning pitcher was Dave Wilson. His record is now 1-0. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Nationals. Earning his 2nd save for Ottawa was Jonathan Luna.
Victor Porter aided the Ottawa cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a double.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Porter.
The loss has the Farmers at 3-1.
