Dan Sanders pitched well, but his team, the Austin Black Mambas, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the Pennsauken Flyers at Mamba Park. Pennsauken reliever Carlos Gómez picked up the win, upping his record to 4-10. Dan Sanders absorbed the loss. Pennsauken has a record of 49-53, placing them 5th in the Silver AAA.

Miron Bozovic, the 26-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Bozovic contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Pennsauken up, 3-1.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Pennsauken manager Mike Preston. "It's usually not just one thing."
