The Tortolita Drummers beat the Sacramento Redlegs, 6-5, at Drummers Ballpark. The Drummers got a fine performance from catcher Hung-chang Chang, who went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Tortolita reliever Marc Potts was the winner. His record is now 8-6. Gerald Currer took the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Tortolita.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Chang hit a fastball from Gerald Currer for a run-scoring single. The Drummers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Chang told a local reporter: "My job is to go out and play as hard as I can."
