Santa Barbara left fielder Nick Widdop made his presence felt in the 13-2 Golden Cranes triumph over the Sioux Falls Red Pandas. Widdop went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Tim Reese earned the win after being called from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. He upped his record to 2-5. With the win, Santa Barbara has a record of 46-55. Sioux Falls falls to 55-46.

Santa Barbara took a 6-1 lead on Widdop's 18th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off José Medina in the top of the seventh, propelled Santa Barbara to the win.
