Black Mambas Sneak Past Flyers, 3-2
|
Starting pitcher Julius Angrenny was a major factor in the 3-2 Austin Black Mambas triumph over the Pennsauken Flyers. The victory makes Austin 24-52.
Austin used the clutch hitting of Kuniyuki Sato to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Black Mambas ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Austin skipper Tony Torres. "I can't complain."
