Squirrel Monkeys Top Marlins, 7-1, Behind Malone
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Ft. Myers Marlins, 7-1, in USSL Triple A action at The Zoo in Syracuse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Syracuse pitcher Dudley Malone. With the win, Syracuse raised its record to 50-26.

Malone's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 9 innings while allowing 6 hits. Malone, who is tied for 8th in the SAAA with a 1 complete games, goes to 3-4 on the year with 91 strikeouts.

"The clubhouse can get insufferable after we lose, so I'm glad we pulled this one out today," Malone told the Syracuse Daily News.
