Ray Englund impressed in the 12-9 Pennsauken win over Santa Barbara. Englund, who is tied for 10th in the SAAA with a .430 slugging percentage, went 3 for 5 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 4 times. The Flyers, at 38-36, sit in 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Pennsauken used the timely hitting of Vicente Torres to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flyers on top, 9-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"There's a lot of fight left in this team," said Torres.
