Floundering Kingfishers Lose 7th Straight
|
Buffalo White Walkers starter David O'Farrell pitched a strong game against the Pittsburgh Kingfishers at Pittsburgh Grounds, leading the White Walkers to victory, 4-2. The 8th-place Kingfishers have lost 7 straight games.
Buffalo used a timely hit from Júlio Sahagún to get the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the White Walkers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson.
