Golden Cranes Stick Dogfish Head with 6-4 Loss
The Santa Barbara Golden Cranes knocked off the Milton Dogfish Head, 6-4, at Milton Corner Tavern. Spencer Sottrel was a big reason Santa Barbara won. The catcher was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Dan Rasmussen, now 1-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. Edgar Pérez earned the save for Santa Barbara, his 3rd of the year.

Santa Barbara used the clutch hitting of Gabriel Quintana to capture the win. The designated hitter drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Golden Cranes the lead, 4-3. For the game, Quintana had 1 single and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
