Streaking Squirrel Monkeys Win Another One, 7-5
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Ft. Myers Marlins, 7-5, in USSL Triple A action at League Park. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Guatajiagua, El Salvador, native Korbin Dallas. Dallas, now 3-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 11, walking 1, and allowing 5 runs. Syracuse has now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Syracuse used the timely hitting of Stone Wright to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Squirrel Monkeys on top, 7-5. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Hitting, winning. It's just contagious," said Wright.
