The Sacramento Redlegs weathered a fine game by Santa Barbara designated hitter Gabriel Quintana to upend the Golden Cranes, 5-4, at Crane Field. Quintana belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Sacramento starter Gunnar Quinn was credited with the win after throwing 91 pitches over 6 innings. His record now stands at 3-6. The win makes Sacramento 20-28.

Dong-su Yun contributed to the Sacramento win. The 22-year old second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the fourth. For the game, Yun was 1-4 with a double.
