The Austin Black Mambas defeated the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 5-2, at Mamba Park. Austin right fielder León Martínez had a superb performance. He was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. The win puts Austin at 13-27.

With Austin leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Martínez hit a circle change from Dong-hoon An for a 3-run home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Black Mambas ahead, 5-1.

Martínez expressed little emotion after the game. "Every game we win now," he said, "is one less win we'll need to get in the end."
