Extra-Inning Win by Golden Cranes Over Flyers
|
In a close game at Crane Field, the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes edged the Pennsauken Flyers, 5-4. Santa Barbara left fielder Gabriel Quintana stood apart with his performance. He went 3-6 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 6th-place Golden Cranes go to 17-19.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 15th. With one out, Quintana hit a changeup from Noah Blin for a run-scoring double. The Golden Cranes, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's great to get the crowd pumped up," Quintana said.
