Pennsauken Stymied by Hartford, 2-0
|
Hartford Pride starter Matthew Rentería turned in an exceptional performance against the Pennsauken Flyers at Pride Park, resulting in a Hartford win, 2-0. The save went to Jeremy Bearimy, his 8th this season. With the win, the Pride have a record of 13-15.
The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the sixth inning, but Rentería was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Pennsauken trailing 2-0, Rentería retired Martin Green, who flied out.
