Golden Cranes Deal Redlegs 8-5 Loss
A good performance from catcher Ernesto Sacasas helped the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes defeat the Sacramento Redlegs, 8-5. Sacasas went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Golden Cranes. Josh Rainey closed the door for Santa Barbara, picking up his 3rd save of the year. At 13-14, the Golden Cranes find themselves in 5th place in the Silver AAA.

Santa Barbara took a 6-3 lead on Sacasas's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off You-liang Xin in the top of the sixth, propelled Santa Barbara to the win.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Sacasas said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
