Norris Excels, But Flyers Win
|
Milton left fielder Bobby Norris had a good game, even if his team did not. The Dogfish Head dropped a 7-6 decision to Pennsauken at Pennsauken Park. Norris went 2-3 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. Cristóbal Noriega recorded his 1st save for Pennsauken. The Flyers, at 15-11, sit in 4th place in the Silver AAA.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Yoshikazu Hashimoto put Pennsauken in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Flyers went on to win the ballgame.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Pennsauken manager Mike Preston.
