Flyers Stick Red Pandas with 4-3 Loss
|
The Pennsauken Flyers turned back the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 4-3, at Pennsauken Park. Claudio Leño, in particular, had a fine performance. He was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk. With the win, Pennsauken climbs to 11-9.
Pennsauken took a 4-3 lead on Miron Bozovic's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Bozovic hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sioux Falls pitcher Wilton Rich visibly frustrated.
"I was a little disappointed," said Sioux Falls manager Fred Leos. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
