Golden Cranes Suffer 3-1 Setback
Juan Cruz was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Milton and Santa Barbara. The Dogfish Head right-hander helped his team beat the Golden Cranes, 3-1. The winner was Andrew Stockton in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Dong-hoon An took the loss. The hot start continues for the defending champion Dogfish Head. This was their 14th win in 19 games.

Milton got the win thanks to a clutch hit from Dwayne Foll. The right fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Dogfish Head ahead, 2-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it had a major impact on the outcome.

"We made a couple of mistakes," said Santa Barbara skipper Doug Green, "and it cost us."
