Flyers Get Past Syracuse for 4-3 Win
The Pennsauken Flyers had to overcome a fine effort from Syracuse pitcher Jeff Morehead to grab a narrow 4-3 win at The Zoo in Syracuse. Morehead went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the loss, Syracuse falls to 5-6.

Pennsauken used a timely hit from Joe Rugman to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Flyers ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Rugman said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
