Loss to Brass Extends Kansas Losing Streak
Baton Rouge Brass starter Kane Hallworth pitched a strong game against the Kansas Rainbeaus at Wichita Field, leading the Brass to victory, 5-3. The save went to Carl Keller, his 2nd this season. The losses continue to pile up for Kansas, which has now fallen 12 times in a row.

In the bottom of the ninth, Josh Thompson stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Rainbeaus were trailing 5-3, but had runners on 1st and 2nd. That's when Carl Keller made a terrific pitch and Thompson struck out. Gone was the dream of a Kansas comeback.
