Fog Deal Monsters 5-2 Loss
|
The Sunset District Fog got a strong performance from pitcher Frank Courtney, who stymied the Monongahela offense en route to a win, 5-2, at Timber Hawks Ballpark. Scott Bishop locked down his 1st save. Sunset District is now 46-53.
Hughie Corbet had a critical at-bat with one out in the top of the sixth for Sunset District. He came through with a run-scoring single to put Sunset District in front, 4-2.
"I thought we played a nice game," Corbet told the Sunset District Observer. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
