The Baton Rouge Brass picked up a win at Brass Field, taking down the Syracuse Starks, 3-1. Starting pitcher Kane Hallworth was a big reason why. Baton Rouge now has a record of 55-39 with the win.

Hallworth, who dominated for Baton Rouge, earned the victory to move to 10-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 5. Syracuse batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
