Banks hits 2 home runs, Leads Dodos to Win
|
Elliot Banks made an impact in the 6-0 Hialeah win over Alaskan. Banks, who is tied for 7th in the PAAA in home runs with 14, hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jack Elvidge, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-2. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 2 hits and no runs, while striking out 4 and walking 2. Hialeah, at 44-48, sits in 6th place in the Premier AAA.
In the top of the first of a scoreless game, Banks hit a 2-run home run to put his team ahead.
"Elliot is still learning," said Dodos manager Billy Strauss. "The sky's the limit for him."
