The Dodos grabbed a win, 4-1, at Dodos Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Kansas pitcher Zhong-shu Ang. Ang went 5.1 innings and allowed no runs. Hialeah reliever Eric Hurt was the winner. His record is now 3-1. Alex Thompson took the loss. Earning his 5th save of the year was Yu-eh Wang.
Cleaver Greene hit a 2-run home run off Alex Thompson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Dodos ahead, 2-1. In addition to the homer, Greene had 1 double, while going 2 for 3.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Greene said.
With the win, the Dodos improved to 39-43.
