Brass Stick Fog with 6-4 Loss
The Baton Rouge Brass beat the Sunset District Fog, 6-4, at Fog Park. The Brass got a fine performance from designated hitter Dong-soo Yi, who went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2. Baton Rouge reliever Mark Springer picked up the win, upping his record to 4-0. Donald Houston shouldered the loss. The Brass now have a mark of 48-33.

Baton Rouge used a timely hit from Ben Walters to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Brass ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Walters told the Baton Rouge News.
