Starks Suffer 4-2 Loss to Fog
|
The Sunset District Fog picked up a win at Fog Park, taking down the Syracuse Starks, 4-2. Starting pitcher Peter Jackson was a big reason why. Jackson, now 5-2, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 8 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing no runs. Sunset District now sits in 8th place in the Premier AAA at 32-39.
The Fog got a big at-bat from center fielder Clive Swanton, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Fog on top, 3-0.
"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Swanton said after the game.
