With designated hitter Sumitomo Shimizu leading the charge, the Calgary Lynx defeated the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 11-4, at Lynx Stadium. Shimizu slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Derrick Jones earned the save for Calgary, his 10th of the year. The Lynx lead the Menard's AAA by 6 games.
