The Hialeah Dodos defeated the Kansas Rainbeaus, 2-1, in USPL Triple A action at Wichita Field. Hialeah pitcher Ricardo Corona had a standout performance. Corona picked up the win for Hialeah, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 4-1. Grant Gremel earned the save for Hialeah, his 15th of the year.

Hialeah used the bat of Cleaver Greene to capture the win. The catcher jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Dodos ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"I was a little disappointed," said Kansas manager Chan-koo Kim. "We could've and should've scored more runs."

The Dodos now own a record of 23-29.
