Brass Fall to .500 After 2-1 Loss to Humpbacks

Alaskan got a first-rate effort from pitcher Kwang-sik Kang, who frustrated Baton Rouge hitters en route to a 2-1 Humpbacks triumph at Sea World. Kang picked up the win for Alaskan, going 6.1 innings. He gave up no runs on 1 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. José Franco earned the save, his 1st, for the Humpbacks.
Héctor García had a big hit for Alaskan in the bottom of the second inning. With Alaskan leading 1-0, García hit a run-scoring double. It was his 5th double of the season and put the Humpbacks up, 2-0.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said García.
The 5th-place Brass have lost 4 straight games.
